Position Overview:

The candidate will become part of an experienced customer service team supporting software products to advance the capabilities and effectiveness of the logistics engineering industry. This support will include, but not limited to, providing 24 Hour customer service on a shared basis, onsite implementation services for new installations of Global Concepts’ systems, documentation and product testing.

Responsibilities Breakdown:

  1. 24 Hour Customer Service – The selected candidate will participate in support of the “24 Hour Support Hotline”.
  2. On-Site Implementation – The successful candidate will participate in on-site implementation of Global Concepts’ software products at various locations around the world.  Extensive travel could be required during customer engagements.
  3. Documentation – The chosen candidate will be part of a team that works closely together to develop user and technical documentation for all of Global Concepts’ software products.
  4. Product Testing – The chosen candidate will work closely with a team of developers to test new features and products, and may also be involved in actual product development.

Qualifications

Candidates must have technical experience with Windows 95/98/NT/XP, Windows Applications, and networking (LAN, TCP/IP, IP Routing, etc.). Experience with SQL report writing, UNIX shell commands, and relational databases, is also required.  PowerBuilder Development experience is a plus.  A college degree in business or technical field (including computer science) is desired. The candidate must also possess skills in the following areas:

Compensation and Benefits:

As a Global Concepts employee, the candidate will receive an annual salary plus a team bonus based on corporate profitability.
