Position Overview:

The candidate will become part of an experienced team and will be responsible for the successful development and execution of a sales and marketing strategy in the territory and industries assigned. The candidate must demonstrate a successful track record in direct sales. The candidate must also have strong organizational and communication skills and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities Breakdown:

  1. Market Research – Perform market research to gather information on specific verticals, competitors, and market conditions to enhance Global Concepts understanding of the marketplace

  2. New Account Development- Develop direct customer relationships with key accounts within area of responsibility and to identify and develop relationships within those accounts with key decision making personnel.

  3. Presentations- Prepare and conduct presentations to prospective customers which demonstrate the advantages and capabilities of the company and its’ products and services.

  4. Negotiations- Participate in and successfully complete negotiation of new contracts for sales of product and services.
     

Background Required:

  • Bachelor degree in related area of study

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong people skills

  • Strong computer skills

Background Preferred (Not Required):

  • Work experience within supply chain software industry

Compensation and Benefits:

As a Global Concepts employee, the candidate will receive an annual salary with an opportunity for commissions based upon successful execution of sales plan. The candidate will also be eligible for spot bonuses and annual salary increases based on individual performance. Total compensation will meet or exceed industry standards. In addition, he/she is entitled to:

  • Participation in Global Concepts’ 401K plan including Corporate matching funds

  • A minimum of two weeks vacation plus Company holidays

  • Professional continuing education (two weeks/year)

  • Professional dues and subscriptions

  • Reimbursement for business travel and entertainment
